How can science, technology, and design come together to support human flourishing?
Hi there, I’m Ting Jiang, a behavioral scientist, systems thinker, and entrepreneur who believes that business can be a vehicle for human healing.
After many years working at the intersection of behavioral economics and social impact, I went through a period of burnout that, instead of breaking me, opened me up. It led to a deeper awakening, a realization that science alone could not address the full spectrum of human experience.
So I began a new path, one that merged science with soul. I immersed myself in bodywork, spiritual teachings, and energy practices, not to turn away from behavioral science, but to deepen and perfect it.
That journey gave birth to Hummingbird Habits, a space dedicated to reimagining the products and services we use every day as tools for care, clarity, and transformation. Through HHT, I blend psychology, design, and soul-aligned entrepreneurship to help companies create products that don’t just perform well, they feel good, resonate deeply, and truly serve people.
Before founding HHT, I was one of the principals at the Dan Ariely Behavioral Science Lab at Duke University. Today, I continue to bridge science and human insight as the Founder and CEO of Hummingbird Habits, Adjunct Chief Science Officer of Make-A-Point, and Advisor to The Decision Lab.
Across continents and industries, my work has always centered on one question:
How can science, technology, and design come together to support human flourishing?
Helping businesses turn every touchpoint into a moment of care, clarity and connection
Empowering the companies that shape our daily lives to serve the highest level of human needs.
And all this does not go against business.
In fact, more signs point that it is the future of business:
If you feel the pulse of a new way of creating, healing, and doing business, I’d love to stay connected.
